Victorian Renovation

RESIDENCE   WAYNE, PA

large addition to a late 19th century hoME in THE North Wayne Historic District

The objective of the project was to modernize this Victorian home to suit the new owners, while preserving the home’s original design. The work included reconstruction of a historic wrap around porch, a new family room addition, a new master bedroom suite, an expanded kitchen and breakfast room, as well as a complete renovation of the entire residence. Numerous improvements were made to the property in order to gain approval from the Historic Architecture Review Board. The exterior  received both a new roof and fibercement shingles. Clad wood windows with simulated divided lites replaced vinyl windows, exterior woodwork was repaired then painted, and significant landscaping provided.
