Baker Rink

Renovations to Princeton's Baker Rink, the second oldest collegiate hockey rink in the U.S.

A new gathering space inside Princeton's ice hockey arena, off the main concourse. The Baker Rink Friends' Room is designed to accommodate recruiting and alumni functions during games, with food service and choice views of the ice. The design takes its cue from the sport itself. Circular elements evoke hockey pucks, and the walls/ceiling are paneled in maple finply, a material used in the construction of hockey sticks. Historic photographs are incorporated into the design, as well as full audio-visual capability. Subsequent to the Friends' Room project JBA renovated the Ice Hockey Locker rooms, training rooms, and coaches offices.
