New Dining Hall
Abington Friends School
A 7,400 square foot dining hall addition and renovation. The program doubles existing dining space, and provides for an expanded menu, as well as providing multipurpose space for dances and theater/music productions. The design incorporates sustainable features, including a green roof. The southeast façade incorporates sunscreens designed to mitigate solar heat gain in the warm months, and to allow solar penetration in winter. |
