Renovation of a four story mid-19th century industrial building - The work includes historic restoration of the exterior, fit-out of the lower floors as meeting and storage space, and fit-out of the upper floors as an office suite for a private investment entity and a chamber music ensemble. The suite is conceived as a village-scape, with various program elements (offices, conference rooms, reception areas, kitchen/bath pods) expressed by individualized material and form treatment. The prime organizing element is a two-story atrium and intercommunicating stair.
